Obituary of Ida L. Marino
Ida L. Marino, 94, of Old Forge, died peacefully Sunday at Moses Taylor Hospital. She was the widow of Frank G. Marino, who died in 2001.
Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Antonia Pallerino Reviello. She was a 1940 graduate of Old Forge High School. Before retirement, she was employed in the sales office of Diehl Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge, its Parish Society and the Old Forge Senior Citizens.
Ida was a truly devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She lived a long life of independence. She will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are a daughter, Carmel Thomas, Old Forge; a son, Francis Marino and wife, Mary, Bethany Beach, Del.; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ernestine Porcelli, Mary Keller and Vera Merva; four brothers, Joseph, Angelo, Anthony and Christy Reviello.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
