Marilyn and family members:
Very sorry about losing Larry. It has been too many years since I have moved from Old Forge to further my education and start my career. The Ferrett family lived 3 houses down from us on McClure Avenue.
Of course, Tommy graduated with you, but I was aware of the very nice Ferrett family. I have basically been away from home since age 18, but my Dad and sister keep me up to date .
Again, very sorry about Larry.

Marilyn and family. Joanne and I are so deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend. When the Ferretts' moved into my neighborhood back in the early 1960’s life got better for me because I became a lifelong friend of Larry. Please take comfort in knowing he was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As for me, he left an indelible mark in my memory that I will carry with me all of my life.

I will never forget the night Larry called me after the Orioles lost their 23rd game in a row to start the baseball season. Although a Yankee fan, I still loved him!!! Our Dear Larry,
I met Larry when he was elected to the Old Forge School Board and we became friends beginning then. He was one of the best school board members I have ever met as a person and school director. He was always positive and always wanted the best for the district, students, and people of Old Forge. He was a family orientated person and enjoyed and though the best of his family. I just can’t say enough about him. He will be greatly missed and could never be replaced.
