Obituary of Theresa M. Bordick

     Theresa M. Bordick of Old Forge, peacefully passed away Wednesday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore from COPD complications.  She was the widow of the late Edward Bordick who died in 2013.

     Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Angeline Ambrose Galacci.  Theresa was a graduate of Old Forge High School and the Hoyt School of Nursing.  Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the Old Forge School District, Walmart, and the Human Resource Department of Allied Services, Scranton.

     Surviving are two daughters, Lynne Martino and husband Joseph, Taylor, Lori Bordick-Lesavage, Old Forge, two grandchildren, Noelle Martino Crosby and husband Brian, and Brendan Bordick-Lesavage. Theresa also leaves behind a beloved cat, Buddy.

     The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their exceptional care and compassion, Dr. Nat Levinson and wife Nancy, and the care provided to Theresa by her personal care aide, Kimberly Anderson.

   Theresa’s service will be held Saturday at noon from the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by a 12:30 p.m. mass of Christian burial at the Prince of Peace Parish – St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 123 West Grace Street, Old Forge, to be celebrated by the Reverend August Ricciardi, Pastor.

     Relatives and friends may pay their respects Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all who plan to attend the viewing or church mass are kindly asked to wear safety facial masks and practice social distancing.
