I am so sorry for your loss. Billy was my best friend for the past 57 years, from kindergarten through high school, and into adult life we remained friends. We had such great times from our crazy young lives to our shared family vacations.
Billy had such a positive attitude, and a smile, a joke, and a funny saying to always make you laugh. Even if we only talked on the phone once a year, or saw each other every five years or so, it was always just like old times--we just picked up from where we left off. I will really miss those conversations, and our times together, reminiscing over great memories. Billy was a true gem of a person, a calm, kind and gentle man. He was a great example for me.
Marie, Morgan, and the entire Malia family, I cannot imagine how difficult this time is for all of you. May God's love, and the memories of Billy's well-lived life, bring you through this sad time. I can just imagine Billy with a smile, a joke, or a funny saying to make us all feel better right now. We love you all and we will keep you in our prayers.

I worked with Bill for a short while at PASWF. Bill was the ultimate 'straight shooter'. Always friendly, he talked about his daughters and extended family often. He loved his golf buddies and we had hoped to get out to play but it never happened. We kept in touch and I had hoped that he would make a trip up to Boston to explore some of the diners and drive-ins that he loved. Very saddened by the news of his passing. A tremendous guy.

I am so sad to hear this news. Marie/Morgan although we never met, Billy and I were childhood friends. We were neighbors and our families were very close growing up. I am heartbroken.
