Obituary of William R. Davis Jr.

      William R. Davis, Jr., 57, of Old Forge, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday.  He was the beloved husband of Thomas M. Mineo.  The couple shared over 25 years together.

     Born on December 16, 1964, in Honesdale, he was the son of Lorraine Moore Davis and the late William R. Davis, Sr.  William was a graduate of the Canaan Christian Academy High School, Lake Ariel, and the Florida Conservatory of Music, Clearwater, FL.  He was employed as a manager for TJ Maxx.

     In addition to his husband, Thomas, and mother, Lorraine, William is survived by a sister, Julie Schweinsburg and husband, Timothy, South Canaan, nieces and nephews; Nicholas Schweinsburg and wife Julianna, Sarah Grant and husband Richard, Joseph Schweinsburg and wife Jennifer, and several great nieces.

     A Blessing Service will be held Thursday at noon by Pastor Daniel Henwood of the Canaan Bible Chapel, Lake Ariel, at the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, PA.  Interment at the Old Forge Cemetery.

     Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to William at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
