Obituary of Ann M. Lee

Ann M. Lee, 71, of Scranton, died Thursday at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore, following an illness. She was the wife of attorney William R. Lee, who was the love of her life. They celebrated 39 years of marital bliss on Sept. 26.

Born April 15, 1943, in Taylor, daughter of the late Walter and Anna Francis Fedor Sr., she was a 1961 graduate of Taylor High School. Before retirement, she was employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. 

Ann loved to cook and bake. She especially loved preparing the annual traditional Russian feast for her family every Christmas Eve. Her gift to everyone was a huge tray of her delicious Christmas cookies. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was especially close to her four granddaughters, who lovingly called her their "Gaiga." Ann loved to dance and her favorite partner was her husband, whom she lovingly referred to as "My Billy Lee."

Also surviving are two sons, Bryan Berkoski and wife, Victoria, Old Forge; and Stephen Berkoski and wife, Sophia, Grand Island, Neb.; four granddaughters, Ashley Berkoski Polk, Oregon; Andrea Berkoski, Mansfield; Kaitlyn Berkoski, Dunmore; and Chloe Berkoski, Old Forge; three great-grandchildren, Kaliyah, Zylon and Baylyn Polk, Oregon; a sister, Patricia Kramer, Scranton; two brothers, Walter Fedor and wife, Sonia, Taylor; and Michael and wife, Janice Fedor, Duryea; nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond J. Berkoski, who is survived by his wife, Hope.

A funeral service will be Monday at 7 p.m. at the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
