Obituary of Andrew T. Kreseskie
Andrew T. Kreseskie, 89, of Old Forge, died Tuesday at home. He was the widower of Rose Kreseskie, who died in 2009.
Born in Old Forge, son of the late Andrew and Mary Bertrim Kreseskie, he was a graduate of Old Forge High School. Before retirement, he was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.
Andrew died surrounded by his loved ones. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and also an amazing gardener who loved to share what he grew with others. He was caring and kind to both people and animals. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him including his two faithful canine companions, Beauty and Miley.
The family would like to thank the staff at Celtic Hospice and Dr. Kenneth Sebastianelli for their compassionate care given to Andrew.
Surviving are two daughters, Genevieve Kreseskie and Mary Bazik, both of Old Forge; a granddaughter, Rose Norton, Wilkes-Barre; a grandson, Paul Bazik, Orlando, Fla; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ivy and Andrew; and a brother, Frank Kreseskie.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston. There will be no viewing.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge.
